Are you one of those people who drove by Nimmo and thought to yourself, “That’s where I want to get married?” Well, you wouldn’t be alone. Countless weddings have been performed in our historic sanctuary since the mid-19th century. You too could become a part of Nimmo’s storied history. For spring, summer, and fall weddings, take advantage of our shady grove of trees, or the Nimmo Garden for photos before or after the ceremony.

You must contact the church office regarding the availability of the sanctuary. (Due to the full church calendar for December, weddings are only held in special circumstances.) If a suitable date is open (you can also check our online calendar to see if there are dates open), please call the office to schedule a meeting to discuss scheduling your wedding.
Counseling and
Marriage Prep.
Reverend Griffin believes marriage is hard work and your wedding ceremony is uniquely special, which is why there will be three to four premarital sessions. Each session will only last about an hour. During that time, the bride or groom may meet with the pastor for personal counseling.
Costs and Facilities

With exception of the deposit and marriage license, all fees and honoraria are due and payable ten days prior to wedding rehearsal as noted in the full wedding document below:

Use of Church Sanctuary $400 (Wedding service held in Sanctuary) *
Use of Pavilion $400 (Wedding service held in Pavilion) *
Note: * - Above fees must be paid at time of reservation and are non-refundable
Each of the below charges, if applicable, is added to the above Sanctuary or Pavilion Fee
Hostess Charge $250 (Mandatory for all wedding services)
Cleaning Fee $200 (Mandatory fee for all weddings)
Use of Fellowship Hall $400 (To hold reception)
Additional Hostess Charge $200 (If reception is held in Fellowship Hall)
Organist Fee $225 (Must use church organist)
Use of Sound System Fee $175 (Must use church Sound technician)
Pastor Honorarium To be discussed with Pastor
